Mission Connections
St. Lazare House, DePaul USA, St. Louis
Where we act on what we believe in .
Who are the people we are connecting with to serve.
St. Lazare House is a program serving the chronically homeless youth, 18 to 24 years old. Our Ladies have several programs connecting to St. Lazare.
Five years ago, we started 'The Cake Ladies" who prepare a birthday cake for each tenant on their birthday. The cake is delivered to them along with a greeting card and a gift card.
In 2020 we started our Christmas giving , providing a cash gift and cakes for a Christmas party.
In 2021 we began the Housewarming Project. We provide some household items to the tenant when they make a positive move out on their own. Our first delivery was made January of 2021.

Volunteer Opportunities
St. Vincent Parish Programs we partner with.
St. Vincent's Food Pantry: We volunteer with this program which is run by St. Vincent's Parish. In addition to our personal service hours, our association also provides financial assistance paying for all eggs and milk distributed. If you too would like to volunteer at the Pantry, you may contact Pat Poehling at St. Vincent's Office, 314-231-9328.
St. Vincent's Christmas Program: This is a program we support with our time and asssociation's treasury. It is organized by St. Vincent's Parish. If you too would like to volunteer or donate to the Christmas Program, you may contact Pat Poehling at St. Vincent's Office, 314-231-9328.
Nutrition Program: Our association provides a monthly financial donation to be used by the Lunch Window for nutritional items. When guests come for a bagged lunch, they receive fresh fruit or applesauce, etc. so something nutritional is given out.
